Medieval Village

This village, built on a scale of approximately 1:72, consists of three defined areas – the lower part of town, the market area and the upper part with a castle. Most elements of this model have been made from recyclable materials – the exception being wood used for the structure of the houses and some other small elements. The roof shingles and paving stones are made from a special mixture of mine containing loo paper. Different types of sponges have been very useful in the making of bushes and trees. The fabulous figurines and accessoires  from Mirliton  give life to everything: the market place with the stall of the butcher, the “shady” life downtown with a proper lady of the night, a knight on his horse, and a watchman guarding his castle.
